Ain’t this just lovely? Take a pinch of Violent Femmes, add a soupçon of The Cure and a glass of heady, intoxicating indie-pop perfection, pour it all into a tastefully gauche cocktail shaker and fire it through The Time Tunnel, “Turtle” by Desert Souls is what tumbles out the other side.
The band hail from Augsburg and they really do create a joyful, unfettered popular music melange, dashingly reflected by the kooky video, drenched with laughter and sunshine. Oh yes ! Their debut mini-album “”Back To The Coast” is out on the 12th October 2019 on the beloved Kleine Untergrund Schallplatten.
