Super World Indie Tune Of The Day 26.09.2019: Kraków Loves Adana – “Follow The Voice”.
We’ve been following the upward trajectory of Kraków Loves Adana’s career for some time now and we are delighted to hear that they’ve signed for legendary LA label Italians Do It Better. Their new single “Follow The Voice” confirms that everything we love about the duo is present and correct. Deniz’s vocals are drenched with sadness, regret an uncertainty. The song pulsates with nagging, persistent synths, yearning guitar and locomotive beats. As with all their songs, it’s a heartworm, it demands repeated listens. I asked the question a while back “Is there another band anywhere at the moment who make such brilliant, serious pop music?” You know the answer. The song is produced and mixed by label owner Johnny Jewel (Chromatics, Desire, Glass Candy) and they are working together on a new LP to be released early next year.
