Super World Indie Tune Of The Day 20.09.2019: Sexy Bicycle – “Angela”.

And a seam, a theme that coincidentally runs through the tracks this week continues – we leave behind massive organs, huge bongos and take a ride on a Sexy Bicycle.

“Angela” is a wondrously dark, inventive, multi-layered piece of faux-gothic electronica. It’s obsession, it’s all the voices in your head chattering at once. It’s got touches of later-period Bowie and early-period Echo And The Bunnymen, yes it is that good folks.

Sexy Bicycle is the solo project (unicycle?) of Georgian artist Nika Elia, currently resident in beautiful Barcelona. “Angela” is from his new LP “Saint” which is out now on DaDa Records and I am very much looking forward to hearing more!
