Super World Indie Tune Of the Day 31.05.2019: “The Loneliest Town” by David Sala & Thibauld Labey

“The Loneliest Town” is a really lovely song. Suffused with sadness, the tune is pulled out of kilter to a location just north of normal, just south of weird. You find it on a map of the human heart. One might say Beatlesque, one might indeed. It runs on nagging piano codas and husky, fuzzed-up harmonics. The animated video, by Hédi Benyounes of Graphik(H), is stunning.
