Salt is the lead single off the brand spanking new album – Tí -by Irish Indie outfit Empire Circus. It was brought to my attention by super music man, vinyl addict and all round good guy M. Kerrigan and boy am I glad he did. Salt is pretty stunning. It has got one of the best openings I’ve ever heard. (I dare anyone not to be sucked straight in by the piano/drum intro) After repeating the hell out of it I finally managed to listen to the rest of the tune which did not disappoint. There’s mastery on display everywhere here from the vocals through to the music and all beautifully produced. Now to check out the rest of the album. I except we’ll hear plenty more from these guys in 2019. Tí is released today.
