Levie – Go On. Super World Indie Tune Of The Day – 29.01.2019
It’s another black, dank January nothing when you can barely drag yourself out of bed, when the day ahead unfold before you like a carpet woven from disappointment and broken dreams, a deep pile shag of nightmares. In short, it’s pretty gloomy, without the pretty bit. Which brings me to the dark and intoxicating music of Vienna’s Levie. Check the insistent, nagging bass lines, sharp guitars and doomy vocals. It’s all delivered with utter seriousness, it’s kind of addictive and it did make me smile as I stood in the pouring rain, crushed of spirit and broken of umbrella.
