‘Half Baked’ is from INIT’s new ‘Wildcard’ (Hivern Discs), a record that “reflects the feelings of estrangement that come when moving to a big city.” I love the cascading keys and rhythms, the feeling of movement, watching the city from under glass, looking up at skyscrapers as you zoooooom thought the sodium glare of the metropolis at night. This is a very fine piece of electronic disturbance. Play on repeat.
