Now for something really special – “Shell Song” is the new single by Micatone from their new LP “The Crack”, which will be released on the 1st of December via Sonar Kollektiv. The song is a jazz-inflected warm embrace, replete with languid, fifties-style guitars and shimmering harp. Lisa Bassenge’s vocals are beautiful, putting me in mind of Billie Holiday singing “A Foggy Day”, it’s just got that vibe. Fantastic! We’re big fans of “The Crack” here, just ask Gerry.
