Our Long Player Of The Week is “Blue Field” (Shelflife Records/kleine untergrund schallplatten) by The Luxembourg Signal. It’s so good it made us think of Gerard Manley Hopkins, now that doesn’t happen often. Check it out here, it won’t give you the blues. Even if you’re in a field.

“Well, by profession I’m not a musician. Music is my passion, a kind of “side job”, a serious “hobby” for me. I was always drawn to music, as a teenager I was learning to play on the guitar for about two years, and as a lot of teenagers, I dreamt of being a guitarist. But I was too lazy to practice a lot, and my focus shifted towards films. About 8 years ago, when my friend, who is a director, started making found footage films, I would have loved to be a part of it somehow, and that’s when I started creating music. It was a kind of turning point to me when I realized that I want to create music.”

Yes, our interview of the week is with the wonderful Ádám Márton Horváth! His instrumentation is invigorating my Incan berries!

Be back soon.
