Mona Lisa lost her smile, the painter’s hands are trembling now…probably because they’re suffering GBH at the hands of these noisesome Belgian indie rockers, SHOESHINE. Angular, jagged, persistent and downright contrary please do check out their new video for Monalysa. They keep knocking at my door, they’re kicking in my windows…
The band are Stef (vox/guit) Effex (drums) and Fed (keys) / Leslie (sound). In fact, their new 4-track ep (Mixed and mastered by June Moan)is class, so check out the whole thing. It’s called “At large on an even shale”, no idea what that means but it sounds good.
