Drama Emperor – The Final Song
What a wonderful thrill for us here on SWIT to get the premiere of the superb new single/video from Italy’s Drama Emperor. The Final Song is the closing track on their excellent album – All of These Days – from last Autumn (one of my favourite albums of 2016 in fact).If you’re looking for reference points (and the band may totally disagree with me here!) but i’m hearing cure,NIN,numan,joy division.Although aligning themselves on the darker side of post punk they maintain an enormous sense of melody throughout. These tunes are catchy as hell. “This is not the end” of Drama Emperor on SWIT either as they’ve kindly agreed to an interview.
